As Swim season has come to an end, the boys and girls swim team had a very successful OVAC meet on January 22 at Brooke High School. The junior class hosted the annual Crush soda sale this week. The Crush soda sale happens every year around Valentine’s Day, where students can purchase a soda for their “crush” or friends. Students were able to purchase a soda with their name on it for $1, make it anonymous for $2, or add a note for $3. On February 9th, the Prefect Led Volunteer Club alongside the Linsly Girls Basketball Team volunteered for the Ohio Valley Night to Shine, a prom for people with special needs. This event was hosted by The Bowman United Methodist Church and included activities like a red carpet, limo rides, catered dinner, framed photos, karaoke and much more fun! Last Friday night, December 8, the Linsly School Arts program performed in the winter concert. Performers included Middle School Choir Classes, the Middle school and Upper School Band, and the Strings. This performance brings in local and professional figure skaters to entertain the audience.
