The boy’s and girl’s track season kicked off this past Wednesday in Martins Ferry with varsity relays, followed by the 69th Annual Bellaire Relays in Shadyside on Saturday.  In the Bellaire Relays, Katerina Spanos placed 9th in 400M with a time of 1:09:38. This winter, Linsly’s men and women varsity bowling teams completed their 5th season of being an official OVAC sport. There were 23 talented boys and girls on the Varsity teams. Each player had to fight for their spot in the upcoming matches each practice, as there are only 6 spots for both boys and girls teams. The girls basketball team’s season has recently come to an end after a tough game at Caldwell. The girls have been competitive throughout this year and finished the season with a 6-16 record. As Swim season has come to an end, the boys and girls swim team had a very successful OVAC meet on January 22 at Brooke High School.
