A new school year carries lots of emotions. Excitement, nerves, fear, and joy are just a few. Here at Linsly, some students and faculty were asked what they are most excited for this year. Whether it be an event, an athletic season, or the possibilities in a new year, Linsly students and faculty look forward to their favorite part of Linsly’s 213th school year!
First off, Mr. Massey, middle school science teacher, said he is excited that there are so many new middle schoolers.
Luchia Fato, a junior at Linsly, is eager for home volleyball games and football games! Go Cadets!
Mrs. Zatezalo, a high school English teacher, is excited to be back in the classroom and engaging with students.
Another high school English teacher, Mrs. Ratkiewicz, is happy to settle into a routine, have new students, and said that “Extrav is always a fun time”.
Mrs. Harvey, a science teacher at Linsly, is excited to meet new students and be involved in all the activities in the Science and Engineering Club.

Mrs. Van Scyoc, who teaches various Art courses, is excited to learn new students’ culture and personality, as well as old students visiting back or taking her classes. She also loves to see all the students gather and perform at the Extravaganza.

Last but not least, Claire Goddard, an 9th grader at Linsly, also can’t wait for the Extravaganza!
