Continuing Traditions Through the Pandemic – Crush Soda Sale

This year the junior prefects carried out the annual tradition of the Crush Soda Sale. The Sale was a way to spread positivity and a sense of normalcy during a crazy and unpredictable year by letting students send crush sodas and notes to their friends. Due to Covid-19, the fundraiser looked a little different this year than in years past. Nevertheless, the junior prefects worked to make sure that they could continue the tradition as safely as possible by setting up an online order form and delivering the sodas to advisor groups.

Thanks to everyone who participated, the juniors were able to raise $600 toward future student activities. The amount of support for the sale highlighted the continued sense of community and school spirit at Linsly. Students continue to help one another find ways to make the best of a very different school year. While the fundraiser may not have been much, it created a newfound sense of hope for a return to “normal” in these last few months of school.
