Emma Brannare is a multi-sport athlete with the ability to dream big. Emma has been at Linsly for several years and has gotten to enjoy the many aspects of student life here at Linsly including sports, clubs, volunteering, and meeting mentors who have helped her throughout her high school career. Although her junior and senior year got interrupted by COVID-19, Emma still managed to complete 4 years of hockey, 3 years of track, 2 years of soccer, and 2 years of cheerleading. Some of Emma’s favorite memories come from these sports, such as winning 4 OVAC titles throughout her high school career. She has been a leader for all of her teams and is the perfect example of hard work. With all of her success throughout high school, Emma is looking forward to attending West Virginia University over the next four years. She plans to major in Sports Media and hopes to one day work in the NHL. Mrs. Wallace acted as a mentor to Emma throughout high school by believing in Emma and pushing her to do her best. Emma’s advice to all future and current Linsly cadets is to get involved as much as you can!
