On May 12, 2025, the Linsly School honored all senior athletes and every upper school athlete who competed in spring sports.
At the end of the school day, all upper schoolers and eighth-graders gathered in the cafeteria alongside parents to recognize and award all senior athletes. Every senior who played a sport this year was individually recognized and received a plaque for their participation. Four awards were given to seniors based on their athletic and academic achievements, and each award was presented to a male and female senior. Olivia Rosenthal and Rocco D’Aquila received the Holden Award, Ilayna Murray and Rocco D’Aquila received the Trustee Award, Abby White and Adam Gill received the Schreiber Award, and D’arrae Goodwin and Haylen Cook received the Zimmer Award. Congratulations to these seniors for their awards and all the seniors recognized for their sports!
Later that day, all upper school student athletes participating in a spring sport were recognized. Every athlete who participated in softball, baseball, tennis, lacrosse, and track and field were recognized for their time and commitment to their sport. Coaches of each sport also presented specialized awards to players who deserved recognition for their efforts this season. Congratulations to every spring athlete and sport for a wonderful season!
