This Friday, May 16, 2025, is the first day of upper school finals. While most seniors are exempt from these exams, freshman, sophomores, and juniors have an intense week coming up. The Linsly Line would like to share some studying habits to help fellow cadets.
First, use active learning. Active learning is done by engaging with the material through summarizing, teaching others, or using flashcards. This keeps the student from becoming distracted and unfocused.
Next, take practice exams. Whether it’s printing out extra review sheets or creating your own, it is important to take practice tests using application of the knowledge.
Lastly, make sure to review often. Cram studying never works. Regularly revisit material to reinforce learning and improve retention on the topic.
The Linsly Line would like to wish all students good luck on their exams. Study hard, everyone!
