This quarter, students in photography class traveled up to Oglebay to take pictures of the wildlife and of the breathtaking scenery. Students brought a packed lunch and ate on their way up. They were able to take pictures of animals like deer, ducks, squirrels, and birds, allowing them to practice focusing on moving subjects and capturing movement in a photo. Additionally, students were able to fully appreciate the nature in Oglebay through photographing flowers, plants, trees, and the beautiful pond. Going to Oglebay is a core memory for photography students and a tradition for each class.
12th grader, Noelle Murray states, “I loved exploring the outdoors, friendly animals, and taking pictures with my friends.”
Another photography student, Chase Labritz, said, “I enjoyed the swan boats.”
The students’ photos will be featured at the art show this Friday, May 9th.
