This past week, members of the National Honor Society put together a book drive for the Wheeling Soup Kitchen. The goal of this was to help the community by passing along books that were once a Linsly student’s favorite, and hoping they could be enjoyed by someone else. Throughout the duration of the week, students brought in books ranging from all age levels into their advisors. This was also a competition among the advisors, with Mrs. Weir’s advisor bringing in the most books and winning a special treat for their donations! This book drive was a huge success, with the students collectively bringing in more than 500 books. National Honor Society members are excited to deliver these donations when they volunteer at the Soup Kitchen this week!
