Linsly Students Travel To Camp Caesar

Linsly Students Travel To Camp Caesar

This past weekend, several Linsly students traveled to Camp Caesar for Young Life 2024 Fall Weekend. Due to harsh weather conditions, the trip was postponed and instead of leaving Friday night, the bus left the following morning. However, the Cadets did not let this ruin their weekend. They made the best of the time they had, enjoying games, learning more about Jesus, and spending time with friends!

Throughout the course of the weekend, the camp offered a variety of activities, most notably was club. This is where campers sang karaoke, watched skits performed by camp leaders, and enjoyed the biblical teachings of camp speaker, Laurie. At the end of each club session a new activity would be announced. This year the activities were a series of challenges between each county, a glow stick party, and a bonfire.

Young life brings people together, not just as a school but as a community. It opens opportunities for teens to learn more about Jesus and His love for them. The activities are very fun. Although, the best part about Young Life is its community, especially the one we have built here at Linsly.
