Dormers’ Thanksgiving Celebration

Dormers’ Thanksgiving Celebration

On Sunday, November 24, the dorming community gathered together to celebrate Thanksgiving. Lexington Food Services worked hard throughout the day to prepare the classic Thanksgiving dishes, including turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, and a variety of homemade pies – apple, pumpkin, and pecan.

Mario Aguilero Pino said his favorite food was the pumpkin pie, and added, “It was a great time to get together with friends and give thanks for one another.”

The cafeteria staff also added to the festive atmosphere by decorating with festive tablecloths and beautiful centerpieces. In the spirit of the occasion, students dressed up in business casual attire. The dorming student body would like to thank Mrs. DeFazio and the entire kitchen staff for making such an extraordinary meal for all of them to enjoy together before leaving for the break.
