Last Thursday, October 3, the Linsly Prefect Live Committee hosted a lemonade stand fundraiser in support of the Beckett Family. Brody Beckett, younger brother of Linsly Student Braden Beckett, a senior at Linsly, was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder earlier this year. This is the Linsly community’s second event this year to support the family. Students had the opportunity to enjoy regular or flavored lemonade for $1 or $2, and flavor choices included strawberry, raspberry, or blueberry. This fundraiser was extremely successful, raising a total of $420. There were an estimated 250–300 cups sold. The Prefects would like to thank everyone for their continued support and ask everyone to keep this family in their thoughts.
