Last Friday night, December 8, the Linsly School Arts program performed in the winter concert. Performers included Middle School Choir Classes, the Middle school and Upper School Band, and the Strings. The Middle School Choir sang some holiday classics, which included “Rockin’ around the Christmas Tree”, “White Christmas”, and “A Caroling We Go”, as they also entertained the crowd with a choreographed routine to Madonna’s “Holiday”, and each grade performed a traditional American song. The Linsly string ensemble began by performing a beautiful rendition of “Oh Holy Night” and “Adeste Fideles.” Next, the band performed their version of many holiday tunes, like “Rolling Along” ,“Up on the Housetop”, and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”. The High School Concert Band performed four jolly songs like “Deck the Halls with Chips and Salsa!” Overall, it was a great night for the Linsly arts programs and a great way to get into the holiday season!
Special thanks to Mrs. Bond, Mr. Morgan, Miss Holt, and the faculty team, who supervised the students, for their hard work and dedication to put on this wonderful production!
