On Thursday, October 19, the Linsly Volleyball team celebrated senior night! The seniors’ parents worked together to create extraordinary personalized poster boards for every senior. Each board was decorated with pictures and moments from the senior’s life and accomplishments. In addition, each individual athlete walked out with their parents or chosen escorts while they read a list of their accomplishments. A special thanks was given to senior Elle Ranney and her family for providing all the seniors and coaches with beautiful fresh leis shipped in from Hawaii. In Hawaiian culture, leis represent joy and good luck for the future. Unfortunately, the Cadets lost a close five-set battle against Magnolia, but that doesn’t take away from their hard work and dedication all season long. Congratulations to senior Ava Gainer, who will continue her volleyball career at Gannon University. She also achieved a milestone this season with 1,000 assists. Avery Sadlowski also had an impressive career, earning 1,000 kills during her time at Linsly. Congratulations to all volleyball seniors on a great season, and good luck with all future endeavors!
