Raymond Kovalesky is a senior football player from Wheeling, West Virginia. He is one of the four captains of Linsly’s team. He intends to play football in college with offers from West Liberty University and Marietta College. Pitt and Kent State are also looking at him. Raymond is a linebacker and a fullback for the Cadets.
He is being named athlete of the week for his impressive 100 tackles and 22 pancakes this season. His best memory from this season was his impressive hit against Holy Name High School in week two of his senior season. His best game of the year was against Steubenville Big Red where he totalled a career high of 21 tackles. He had 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery as well. Raymond says his favorite part of playing football is celebrating in the locker room after winning games, and getting to see Coach Hammer get groovy.
