This past Tuesday, the German Club held a bake sale during advisor. They sold traditional German cookies such as spitzer cookies, hazelnut cookies, and honey cookies as well as brownies. The club raised close to 100 dollars and plans to use the funds for activities like movies, chocolate tasting, and a Christmas party. Their first meeting was held a month before, and they elected Aubrey Dunkin as the president, Connor Phillips as the vice president, Madison Applegarth as the secretary, and Sydney Burke as the treasurer. The German Club focuses on learning about German culture through enjoyable activities. Any Linsly student in grades 5 through 12 is welcome to join the club, and it’s not required to be taking German to participate. If you are interested in joining the club please contact Frau Bauer or Aubrey Dunkin.
