September 23rd was senior weekend for the members of the football team as well as the cheer team. This weekend was one where our community got to highlight the seniors graduating in the class of 2024 on these teams. On Saturday, our faculty, students, parents, and alumni came out to show their school spirit. At our home field the football team carried their way to victory against Fort Frye.
Senior weekend is an annual event that allows the students of our football and cheer team to be recognized. This year’s seniors on the cheer team include Emily Klempa, Avery Gilman, Lexie Finley, Maddie Taylor, Anna Norman, Payton Hill, and Mireia Brulles Lopez. The senior players on the football team include Rodrigo Ballesteros, Pedro Calsavaro, Atley Cowan, Malte Feil, Roi Gerson, John Paul Jones, Lane Kendzerski, Raymond Kovalesky, Toni Malkki, Fisher Palian, Jamie Riedel, Jaycob Sauvageau, Jack Selmon, Nathen Smith, Kevin Stanisi, Alex Taylor, Landon Taylor, Mikey Troullous, Tommy Turak, and Neri Weiner. All were honored as they walked across Fawcett Field before the game with their parents.
An amazing way to end a day full of fun was a win by Linsly. The score against Fort Frye was 41-0. Senior night was one to remember!
