Linsly Football: Ready to Take the Next Step

The Varsity Football team is currently 3-3 on the season with victories over Fort Frye, Richmond Heights, and Holy Name. The team has been working hard and is determined to have a winning season.

When asked his thoughts on the season, senior captain Raymond Kovalesky said “We have the dudes to go out and get it done, we just have to FINISH and quit killing ourselves. We have the right mindset and are ready for the challenges ahead of us. Swim and eat!”

Roi Gerson, another senior captain, stated that “the football season had a great start and the team hit a crossroads. We had tough losses, but we are back on the right road. I’m expecting a bright rest of the season for our team. The guys are showing a tremendous amount of effort and seriousness.”

Kovalesky also takes pride in the team by saying “We embrace being the most physical team anyone plays.” The team has four more games to play, and they will take on Dover tonight. Good luck with the rest of your season boys!
