The AMC (American Math Competition) Club is now running! Practices are three days a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Monday’s practice is from 3:15 to 4:00 p.m. in Mrs. Romanek’s room (Banes 304). Wednesday practice is from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the Dickie Dorm Common Area. Friday practice is during breakfast from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. in Mr. Cummin’s room (Banes 310). Please feel free to come when you can; there is no requirement to attend all practices. Wednesday night meetings are casual so bring some snacks and have some fun doing math! We review past questions from previous AMC math competitions and work on them as a team. We will take the AMC in November. This club is a great way to make new friendships while learning and sharpening your math skills! Come join, there is always room for more members!
