The fifth and sixth graders spent some time outdoors in Cheat Lake, West Virginia at the beginning of September. Most of the students are new to The Linsly School, so this was an amazing opportunity for them to get to know one another better. They also got to make some fun memories! The kids spent their days participating in bonding activities, going swimming, and ziplining! Mr. Holt especially appreciated witnessing the kids face their fears while ziplining.
Sixth grader Heidi Wood says the trip was “fun and exciting” and her favorite thing they did was the zipline. Other fun activities included canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and playing on “The Blob.” Cheat Lake was a great experience for the students, and they hope to go back again next year.
