Our wrestlers participated in the Ron Mauck Wrestling Championship where they went against 47 teams. This event was held at WesBanco arena Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and overall, it was very eventful. Linsly placed 21st and had individual wins as well. Anderson Palian placed 7th in his weight class. Our wrestlers have had a great season so far, and we hope to see support for our wrestlers. Wrestling has senior night coming up on the 25th, where they will go against Wheeling Central and Magnolia. We hope to see you there!
Our swimmers also had an eventful Friday with OVAC’s. The girls’ and boys’ teams placed first, winning the Bill Brubaker OVAC championship. Overall, our swimmers have had a fantastic season and have been undefeated for the past 16 meets. We had both girls’ and boys’ 200-yard relay races place first. We are very proud of both these teams and hope they keep having a fantastic season. Our swimmers have a senior night on the 31st. We hope to see lots of support for the rest of the season and appreciate everyone who has been cheering on our teams!
