Linsly Students Dress Up for Spirit Week

Linsly Students Dress Up for Spirit Week

Last week, in preparation for the Homecoming football game, the Linsly student body participated in Spirit Week. A full week of themed dress down days made for a very exciting week here at Linsly.

Students and faculty were still enjoying Fall Long-Weekend on Monday, so Spirit Week was put on hold until Tuesday.

On Tuesday, students took inspiration from actor and comedian Adam Sandler. He is known for being caught in comfortable, often ill-fitting outfits despite his celebrity status. Oversized t-shirts, baggy shorts, and baseball caps were some common sights on Tuesday

Wednesday was dubbed “Mathlete vs. Athlete” day. Some students dressed ready for sports practice while others wore typical ‘nerdy’ clothes like suspenders and ties.

Thursday was class colors day. Grades were each assigned a certain color to dress in and it made for a very colorful day!

Finally, Friday was Linsly Spirit Day!  The underclassmen repped lots of orange and black while seniors had their dress up day. Homecoming Queen candidates wore their crowns and along with the football players were honored at the pep-rally at the end of the day.
