Teachers in the Spotlight: Ms. Kelly

Ms. Chelsea Kelly instructs Upper School students in Anatomy & Physiology, Introduction to Sports Medicine, and Physical Education & Health. While she has taught at Linsly for four years, she has a much longer history with the school. Starting her attendance in her seventh-grade year, she is a member of Linsly’s Class of 2011.

Between her experiences as a student and teacher at Linsly, Ms. Kelly completed a bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Wheeling Jesuit University and a master’s degree in exercise, fitness, & health promotion at George Mason University. She additionally earned certification as an athletic trainer in Virginia and West Virginia.

In addition to teaching, she is also an athletic trainer at Linsly, assisting students from multiple sports teams. Her current advisory group students are from the Class of 2022. Her hobbies include exercise and using Cricut machines to craft. As for a fun fact, Ms. Kelly had five wisdom teeth.
