Make Delicious Chocolate Covered Strawberries With Me!

If you’re a fruit lover and a chocolate lover, you have to love chocolate covered strawberries! Whether you’re eating them yourself or giving them to a loved one or friend, chocolate covered strawberries are quick and easy to make, and there are so many ways to make them creative in your own way.

Follow this step by step tutorial to make a delicious Valentine’s Day treat:

Ingredients and Supplies: fresh strawberries, meltable chocolate, parchment paper, sprinkles, any other toppings of you choice

  1. Cover your surface with parchment paper.

2. Wash your strawberries and completely dry them.

3. Set the strawberries out on the parchment paper a few inches apart.

4. Melt your chocolate according to its packaging and stir until completely melted and smooth.

I used both milk chocolate and white chocolate. I purchased these at Riesbeck’s. The package instructed me to microwave the tray of chocolate for 120 seconds.

5. Hold the strawberry by the leaves at the top and dip it into the chocolate, turning it to cover all sides.

6. Let the excess chocolate drip off the bottom of the strawberry.

7. Place the strawberry back onto the parchment paper and decorate however you choose.

I chose a variety of Valentine’s Day colored sprinkles, pink icing, and drizzled the opposite color of chocolate onto the strawberries to decorate them.

8. Let the strawberries sit for 30 minutes to an hour or until they are completely hardened. If the strawberries are not being eaten or served immediately after hardening, refrigerate them to keep them fresh.
