This past Sunday, the National Honor Society welcomed new inductees into the Linsly chapter. At the ceremony, the inductees took an oath to be apart of the NHS and pledged to serve the school and community in beneficial ways. We were pleased to have Dr. Kenneth Blemings speak to the inductees about the importance of being a scholar and applying all four traits of the NHS. These traits are service, character, scholarship and leadership. Dr. Kenneth Blemings is a professor in the Division of Animal and Nutritional Sciences, inaugural director of the University’s intercollegiate undergraduate program in biochemistry, and was named dean of the WVU Honors College in 2015. Linsly and the National Honor Society is thankful to be given the opportunity to listen to him speak. We can’t wait to see what these students accomplish in the upcoming years. Below is a list of all the inductees.
