This week, The Linsly Middle School held its annual Spelling Bee! The top four spellers in each grade from 5-8 advanced to the finals on Tuesday, January 28. The 16 finalists competed for a chance to compete in the regional bee! This year, 8th grader Adam Zatezalo and 7th grader Alexa Zido were our top two spellers! Additionally, 5th grader Gus Goodman finished third and will serve as the alternate. Alexa’s final correctly spelled word was “stockade,” Adam’s was “physician,” and Gus’s was “muttenchops.” Congratulations to all of the spellers, and good luck to Adam and Alexa at regionals!
