Linsly welcomes a new economics teacher this year, Mr. Phillips.
Mr. Phillips, who graduated from Penn State University, is passionate about teaching economics because it plays a major part in peoples everyday lives. He loves how understanding money management can help people, and he enjoys sharing that knowledge with his students. Additionally, he was inspired to become a teacher by a high school mentor who motivated Mr. Phillips and helped him grow. If he was not a teacher, he says he would be a physical therapist. Mr. Phillips loves Linsly for its strong sense of community and support for both students and teachers.
Outside of school, Mr. Phillips enjoys golfing, hanging out with his fiancée and dog, and watching sports.
The Linsly School is happy to have such a determined and motivated teacher joining the community!
