Seniors Triumph at Annual Faculty vs. Student Basketball Game

The Linsly student life prefect committee hosted the eagerly anticipated senior boys versus faculty basketball game on Friday, Februray 18th. The two teams, who were both extremely competitive, enjoyed amicably battling with and taunting each other throughout the game. The faculty’s basketball team consisted of our middle school and high school basketball coaches including Coach Wojcik, Coach Upton, and a couple of other former athletes. The beginning of the game was plagued by a lot of missed shots and even a couple air-balls, but by the second half, both teams had found their rhythm. The last minute of the game was full of fouls, lots of yelling between teams, and even some questionable time added to the clock by faculty! In the end, the senior boys won by one point, making the score 47-46. To say this was a close game is an understatement, however, the senior boys won bragging rights over their coaches and teachers in the end.
