Linsly’s 2025 Homecoming Court!

The Linsly Schools 2025 Homecoming court consists of thirteen beautiful and gracious senior ladies.

Lauren is a seven year member of the soccer team and two year member of track and field. Lauren is a member of The Linsly Line, German club, and art club. In her free time Lauren volunteers for Kathy’s House Foundation and Night To Shine. She will be escorted by her parents, Bill and Lori Coen, of Glen Dale, West Virginia. Next fall Lauren plans to attend college to pursue a degree in diagnostic medical sonography, with aspirations of specializing in obstetrics.

Bridget Zimmerman is an eighteen year old runner who excels in cross country and track and field. She is the head of the “Live” prefect committee, President of the National Honor Society, and a co-editor for The Linsly Line. Bridget has been a student at Linsly since the fifth grade. Bridget will be escorted by her father Justin Zimmerman and mother Aimee Zimmerman. She and her family live in Wheeling, West Virginia. Next fall Bridget plans to attend college to get a bachelors in the science of nursing.

Lili Blakely will be escorted by her mother and father, Heather and Ryan Blakely, of Saint Clairsville, Ohio. Lili is a lifer at The Linsly School and currently serves as Vice President of the National Honor Society, Head of the Prefect “Learn” committee, and a member of the cheerleading squad. She enjoys spending time with her friends, heading to the gym, or volunteering in her community. Lili excels in math and plans on continuing her academic career studying engineering in college.

Hadley is a seventeen year old athlete who is a crucial member of the girls track and soccer team. Hadley is a member of YoungLife youth group and spent two months of her summer volunteering at Rockbridge Alum Springs summer camp in Goshen, Virginia. Hadley will be escorted on Friday by her mother Tammy Selick of Saint Clairsville and Grandmother Mary Bandi. Although she is undecided on her college thus far, she plans on becoming a teacher and continuing her track and field career at a collegiate level.

Alaina Toplovich is a member of  football cheerleading and tennis in the spring season. Alaina is from Saint Clairsville, Ohio and will be escorted by Mother, Keturah, and Father, Mark. Although she is undecided for her college decision, Alaina knows that she will be majoring in either journalism or English. 

Elaina Pusz currently serves as the 2025-2026 head prefect. She has been a student at Linsly since the fifth grade and a member of various activities such as the girls soccer team, serving as head of the National Honor Society Service Committee, being an editor of The Linsly Line, and participating in school plays. Elaina is from Wheeling, West Virginia and is also a member of Wheeling’s Young Life youth group. She plans to study neuroscience or biology and hopes to attend medical school to become a physician in her future.

Rhiannon Jones is a member of the varsity tennis team. Outside of school, Rhiannon enjoys horseback riding and competing in equestrian. She will be escorted by father, Dr. Dan Jones, and mother, Judy Jones. Rhiannon plans to attend the University of Kentucky to major in equine science on a pre-veterinary track. Rhiannon aspires to continue her equestrian career on a collegiate level.

Reese Maroney of Saint Clairsville, Ohio is a four year letter winner and captain of the football cheerleading squad. Reese also cheers for basketball season and serves as a prefect, as well as a French club officer, a head editor of The Linsly Line, and member of the National Honor Society. Outside of school she spends the majority of her time dancing for LDT dance centers competition team. There she has won various awards for her skills. Reese lifeguards at Allen Pool during the summer and has over 120 hours of volunteering for the Wheeling Symphony. Reese plans to study business and finance with a minor in dance, in hopes of pursuing a career in law.

Claire is the daughter of James and Kristen Carson of Wheeling, West Virginia. Claire is a lifer at The Linsly School and currently serves as a two-year prefect, secretary of the National Honor Society, and member of The Linsly Line. Claire is a four year varsity athlete in both cheerleading and soccer, specifically serving as soccer captain her junior and senior year. Claire spends lots of her time at the Oglebay Institute Youth Ballet Company, as well as Ohio Valley YoungLife. Claire has also earned over 100 hours of service for the Wheeling Symphony during her high school years.

Baylie Hinebaugh is the daughter of  Sam and Brandi Hinebaugh. She is from Wheeling, WV. Baylie plans to attend college next fall to study biology, with a goal of working in conservation.

May Devine is the daughter of Dan Devine and Jean-Anne Renshaw. May is from Wheeling, WV. May plans to attend college next fall with a pre-medical focus, pursuing a career in Sports Medicine.

Evangeline Yendell is the daughter of Dean and Colleen Yendell. She is from Washington, Pennsylvania. Evangeline plans to study biology next Fall, with aspirations of pursuing a career in medical research.  

Sydney Gilman is the daughter of Chad and Holly Gilman. Sydney is from St. Clairsville, Ohio. Sydney plans to attend college next fall to study communications and public relations. 

The 2025 Homecoming queen will be crowned during Halftime on October 17 at West Liberty University Stadium during the homecoming football game. The naming of the homecoming queen will be determined randomly by the selection of a white rose.

The Linsly School is proud of all of these ladies’ accomplishments during their time at the school and would like to say good luck to all of the wonderful candidates. Congratulations, ladies.
