On Friday, December 6th, the high school French Club came together to plan and bring in French Cuisine. This took place is Mrs. Brutto’s room during upper school lunch. The French Club enjoys celebrating and trying authentic French cuisine each year. The student’s favorite items to bring in a try are baguettes, croissants, le brie, le gruyère, Baybel, and orange juice. Trying all of the cheeses that are uncommon is a fun way to explore a different cuisine. Also, trying different cheeses, and combinations of cheeses, allows the students to explore French culture in a hands-on way.
The French students say, “It is a day that we all look forward to. It is an amazing experience to try new food together while appreciating French culture.”
The students decided to not only bring in food, but they also came together to bring cups, plates, and napkins. The French Club enjoyed trying new French cheeses and coming together to appreciate French culture.
