Last Friday, October 27, 2024, Linsly hosted its first dress-down day of the year in honor of Brody Beckett (12), Braden Beckett’s younger brother. Braden has been at Linsly since 6th grade and has been involved in many clubs and his local community. Earlier this year, Braden’s Brother, Brody, was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder. The Linsly community asked everyone to show their support on Friday and wear blue in honor of the Beckett family. Donations were accepted at the front and side doors of the school in the morning for anyone who wanted to donate to the Beckett family. Anyone who donated more than 10 dollars received a bracelet (while supplies lasted). Linsly would like to thank everyone for showing their support to Braden and ask you to keep the Beckett family in your thoughts.
