The first week of school at Linsly has officially begun, and what a great way to start it by bringing all of our upper school students together! On August 25, before the first football game of the season, the prefects along with the football team’s parents planned a fun night to recognize our football and cheerleader seniors. Earlier in the evening all of the students were occupied by the numerous games of cornhole, volleyball, spikeball, football, and even throwing water balloons at each other. Then, when the sun went down, the football parents brought out food and a huge bonfire was built. All of the students gathered around the fire, took pictures, played more games, and ate food. A video was created and shown at the fieldhouse of all of the seniors on the football team and on the cheer team. Each senior talked about their favorite memory from their seasons. Overall the Back to School Bash for the upper school class was a fun way to start the school year, meet new students, and support our football team.
