Linsly Students Perform in Symphony on Ice Event

The holiday season kicked off in Wheeling with the annual Symphony on Ice show at WesBanco Arena. The event brings together the Wheeling Symphony, regional and professional figure skaters, and local choirs. Conductor John Devlin starts off with leading the orchestra to play Christmas music. Most songs are accompanied by either skating performances or choirs singing to the music.

This year’s event featured 5 Linsly Students including Londyn Mistovich, Emma Dean, Sophia Tsikouris, Sydney Burke and Aubrey Dunkin. Skaters practiced for months to prepare for their performances. Sydney Burke had a solo performance in her routine of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Other Linsly Students skated in Silent Night, You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch and Frosty the Snowman.

The Symphony hosts this annual event each December so be sure to grab tickets for next year.
