Besides being very well-known in the Valley for having rigorous academics, Linsly’s sports programs hold themselves to no different prestige. With the fall sports concluding their very successful run, and winning several OVAC’s, there are high expectations for our winter sports athletes. The swim team has no trouble living up to this. With several meets already over and many more to go, Linsly easily overcame several competitor schools, and are preparing for many more wins until the season ends in February.
The first meet of the season was against rival Wheeling Park. It was going to be a hard race, especially since Park is known as having one of the best swim teams in the Ohio Valley. But Linsly lived up to the challenge, winning 20 out of 22 events, with 6 of those wins being relays.
Next, Linsly hosted Oak Glen and Weir in a double duel. Although also challenging, Linsly came out on top winning 21 out of 22 events! With many more events to come, this is just a handful of the victories that Linsly will see for our great team. Go Cadets!
